Basic knowledge of Japanese Kanji

How to think about Japanese Kanji

Hello you guys!

I have been studying English for a long time.

I know studying another language is really hard.

if you learn from this website, your studies will be easier.

Japanese Kanji basically has 3 parts
and the 3 parts each have a name.

The names are “Kanmuri”,”Hen”,”Tsukuri”

Kanmuri(冠、かんむり)crown

When you see Japanese Kanji.

The Kanji are separated into top and bottom

The top part is Kanmuri.

I will introduce some kind of Kanmuri.

Kusa-Kanmuri

Botanical Kanji has this Kanmuri basically.

for exampie

草(grass)kusa、花(flower)hana、茎(stem)kuki、苗(seedling)nae、

Ame-Kanmuri

Kanji about weather has this Kanmuri basically.

for exampie

雪(snow)yuki、雲(cloud)kumo、雷(thunder)kaminari、雫(drop)sizuku、

U-Kanmuri

Kanji about houses have this Kanmuri basically.

for exampie

家(house)ie、室(room)sitsu、宿(inn)yado、客(guest)kyaku、

 

Hen(偏、へん)slant, be biased, incline

When you see Japanese Kanji.

The Kanji are separated into the left side and right side

The left part is Hen.

I will introduce some kind of Hen.

 

Nin-ben

Kanji about human have this Hen basically.

for exampie

仕(work for)si、休(rest)kyu、伝(connection)den、仙(hermit)sen、

 

Ki-hen

Kanji about wood have this Hen basically.

for exampie

机(desk)tsukue、杖(cane)tsue、札(tag)huda、杉(cedar)sugi、

 

Sanzui

Kanji about water have this Hen basically.

for example

海(sea)umi、汗(sweat)ase、汁(soup)siru、流(flow)ryu、

 

Tsukuri(旁、つくり)close

When you see Japanese Kanji.

The Kanji are separated into the left side and right side

The left part is Hen and right side is Tsukuri.

 

Tsukuri doesn't have the part's name like "Kanmuri" "Hen".

I will introduce the "Tsukuri" each time.
